Surrey Place Centre offers unique student placements to future clinicians interested in working in the field of developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and blind low vision.
Students have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a variety of clinicians and engage with clients with a wide range of developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and blind low vision, as well as their families, caregivers, teachers and clinicians. Students are placed in one of our interdisciplinary age-based programs: Infancy and Early Childhood ,Children and Youth and Adults

To whom do we provide placements?
Surrey Place Centre is committed to providing excellent learning opportunities to students. We are a fully affiliated teaching environment of the University of Toronto and George Brown College and provide a variety of placements to students at York University, Ryerson University, Seneca College, Humber College, Durham College, St Lawrence College as well as other Colleges and Universities on an individual basis.

The psychology internship position provides senior level doctoral students with training opportunities to enhance the development of the core competencies required for psychologists. The internship program offers six rotations spanning Developmental Services and Autism Specialty Services. The deadline to apply is November 25, 2016.
